Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit from Mega Cat Studios is the latest video game release in the FNAF universe and has been an exceptional experience. If you are having trouble during some parts of the game we have created a complete walkthrough starting with Night One.

At the story’s beginning, we find Oswald feeling weary of his monotonous routine. He discovers a ball pit that his parents and other customers of Jeff’s Pizza often mention. Wanting to surprise his father, Oswald decides to hide in the ball pit, an action that unexpectedly transports him back to the year 1985.

How to complete Prologue

In the beginning of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit, Oswald leaves his drawing unfinished and gets in the car with his father. It is a daily tradition for his dad to drop him off at Jeff’s Pizza and pick him up later in the day. After a long discussion, Oswald’s father drops him off at Jeff’s Pizzeria.

The first task you are given is to look for the ball pit. If you open the map for the first time you will locate the Ball Pit room as it will be the green-shaded area. To access the Ball Pit room walk to the right of the Dining Area and it will be right next to the stage. 

Your next task will be to ‘Hide In the Pit’ and all you have to do is walk up to the ball pit and interact with it. Oswald will jump in and will find himself in a completely different environment with kids all his age. From here the next task is to ‘Explore The Area’ and you’ll want to leave the ball pit room and head into the Dining Area. 

Once in the Dining Area, walk to the left and you’ll run into Mike and Chip prompting a conversation with the two kids. While you are talking to them, a creepy shadow appears coming from the door, but no one will notice it. 

Next, your next task will be to Meet Chip and Mike in the Arcade. To get there head straight to the left from the Dining Area and use the red door. You’ll now be at the Entrance and the door north next to a Freddy Fazbear standee will take you to the Arcade. This is where you’ll see Mike and Chip at the Pizzaroller game. Regardless of how hard you try at this arcade game against Mike, you will lose. 

Chip will now suggest playing Tag which will allow him to show Oswald more of the place. You are now tasked with ‘Don’t Get Caught’, and after trying to find a hiding spot you’ll get caught. The next game is Hide and Seek and now you’ll have to find a hiding spot.

Go back to the Arcade and to the other end of it where you’ll see a red door leading you to the Storage Room. Once you go into the Storage Room you’ll want to hide behind the Freddy Suit. 

While Oswald is hiding behind the Freddy Suit, Chip runs into the room and hides in the vents. Mike finds him then both kids will leave the room and things will start to get creepy. The power will go out and a terrifying animatronic will look into the suit. At this point, you will need to hold the breath button while it looks to see who could be in there.

While this is happening you will hear sounds of the kids screaming in terror and see them running from the pizzeria. 

Now your objective is to Look for Chip and Mike. Use the door to the left to get back into the Arcade room. Go all the way to the left and reach the entrance. You will see all of the kids leave the pizzeria on the left side. 

Use the door on the right of the room to reach the Dining Area. You’ll see more kids running from the pizzeria. Go to one of the North Doors that is to the left of the “Employees Only” Door where the shadow was seen earlier in the game. This will bring you to a cutscene with the Yellow Rabbit animatronic asking you to follow it into the Party Hallway that you will encounter for the first time. 

Head straight to the left and open the red door at the far left next to a coffee machine. When you open the door, Yellow Rabbit will attack you and you’ll need to press the button as fast as possible and you’ll need to Escape. 

To Escape you will need to run to the right and use the south entrance (where you came from). Once in the Dining Area go to the right and use the Red Door next to Balloons. You will be in the Ball Pit room again and you just have to jump in the pit again to get back to the present where Dad is waiting for you along with Jeff.

After a few moments of dialogue, Yellow Rabbit will jump out of the ball pit and drag Dad into it. 

How To Call Mom

When you pull Dad out of the ball pit you will notice something strange about him. He will take you home and once you get into the Living Room, Oswald will decide to go to bed. Oswald needs to Call Mom, but will need to get his Dad’s cell phone which is in the Master Bedroom.

Exit Oswald’s bedroom and you’ll be in Hallway 2. Go to the door on the far right and once you enter there will be a quick cutscene of Yellow Rabbit laying on the bed. Your objective will be to get him out of the Master Bedroom so you’ll need to distract him with a loud noise. 

Once Yellow Rabbit is distracted by the loud noise it will go into other rooms around the house. This will allow you to enter the Master Bedroom. Dad’s Cell Phone is located on the right nightstand. Press the corresponding button to grab it and it’ll be in your inventory.

Oswald will access the Cell Phone and realize he needs Mom’s Number. You will be able to find Mom’s Phone Number in the Kitchen which is just below Hallway 2. Go in the south entrance once you are in Hallway 2 and you’ll be in the kitchen. 

Mom’s Phone Number is found on a note on the refrigerator. The note will be added to your inventory and the number to dial is 555-5683. When you call Mom, Yellow Rabbit will come through the phone which will scare Oswald prompting him to go hide. 

To evade Yellow Rabbit after calling Mom, head to the Basement through the door on the right. Once in the Basement, proceed all the way to the right where you’ll find a storage box. Enter the box and Yellow Rabbit will enter the room, triggering a mini-game. In this mini-game, you’ll need to swat away spiders to prevent them from giving away your location.

While you’re in the basement be sure to take the rope and the Weight Resistance Mechanism in front of the boiler. These items are useful later on in the game. 

Wait a few seconds after Yellow Rabbit leaves the room. Oswald will hear Mom has arrived home and will exit his hiding spot. Go back to the left door and go into the Kitchen then continue left into the Dining Room and go to the Left Door once again to enter the Living Room. You will see Mom and Dad will come into the Living Room, but something still doesn’t look right.

How To Escape Home

Oswald has returned to his bedroom after meeting Mom. You will now be tasked with ‘Find A Way To Escape’ your home. There are 3 different ways you can escape home:

• Leave the house using the Door on the left of the Living Room which leads outside
• Use the rope you found earlier to escape through the window in the Attic
• Move the ladder from the Attic to the Basement and escape through the window on the right side of the Basement.

It is not recommended that you use the ladder method as it will create a lot of noise going from Hallway 1 to the Basement. 

After escaping your house, go to the Pizzeria. Head back to the Ball Pit and you’ll return to 1985 at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Once you enter you’ll hear a kid crying. Go to the Dining Area and walk left until you see the crying kid stuck in an animatronic. This will prompt your last objective on Night One. 

How To Rescue The Kid

Once you find and talk to the kid you will need to ‘Find Something To Get The Kid Out’ which is the Screwdriver. The Screwdriver you need is located in the Basement and to get there you’ll have to walk right until you reach the Backstage curtain. Once in the Backstage go to the Door on the far right. Oswald will see the door is locked and now you will need to get the Key from Jeff.

While you’re Backstage grab Dad’s Wallet this will be useful later on in the game.

Go back to the Ball Pit so you reach the present time. Go to the Dining Area and walk to the left until you reach the entrance door. Speak to Jeff and he will give you the task of Dumping The Trash at The Mill. Jeff will also give you a Flashlight that you’ll need to use while you’re are The Mill. Completing this task will help you get the key. 

Exit Jeff’s Pizza using the door on the left of the entrance and run to the right outside and you’ll see the different locations. Go to The Mill and once you arrive you will dump the bag of trash and there will be a couple of items you need to pick up. 

Make sure to grab the Puzzle Matrix and the Battery that you must pick up to get the Key from Jeff. Leave The Mill and return to Jeff’s Pizza. Speak to Jeff and he will thank you for saving his aching back. He will now give you the Key to access the Basement at Freddy Fazbears. 

Head back into the Ball Pit then go Backstage and you will now be able to access the Left Door. Once you go into the Basement it will be very dark and Oswald will pull out his Flashlight. The Screwdriver is located on the wall which is north of the room. 

Exit the Basement and Backstage. You’ll be in the Dining Area and you’ll walk to the left and reach the Crying Kid. Walk up to the Kid and use the Screwdriver on him to rescue him. After a few conversations with the Kid, Yellow Rabbit will jump out the door and Oswald will need to Escape. Go back into the Ball Pit and go Home. 

This will conclude Night One and you will begin the second day at Home.
