Entertaining the masses of Five Nights at Freddy’s fans is becoming a large order. With over a handful of mainline installments and the growing number of fan-created titles as well, the franchise is branching out to different genres and avenues. Even recently, the official release date for the Five Nights at Freddy’s film is scheduled to release on October 27th, Blumhouse Productions announced.
Previously, the last major installment for the Five Nights at Freddy’s IP happened to be Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach. Unlike the previous influx of entries for the series, Security Breach happens to be the most ambitious entry in the franchise as it ranks in being a AAA from Steel Wool Studios. The game has shipped on PlayStation & PC at the time.
Well, at the latest Nintendo Indie World it was revealed that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is now available for Nintendo Switch. You can watch the trailer in the video below:
“In the latest installment of the family-friendly horror games you’ll play as Gregory, a young boy trapped overnight in Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex. With the help of Freddy Fazbear himself, Gregory must survive the near-unstoppable hunt of reimagined Five Nights at Freddy’s characters – as well as new horrific threats,” the overview for the game reads.
Additionally, Five Nights at Freddy’s is facing a new change in power. Announced back in June 2021, creator Scott Cawthon shared plans to hand the helm to a new successor for the series. Although he pioneered the IP, Cawthon has supported his followers with initiatives to back projects regarding the Five Nights at Freddy’s property. You can read the full report by heading here.
