Focus Home Interactive is a publisher that continues to grow. After releasing games this year such as Greedfall, A Plague Tale: Innocence and the ever-growing expansion of Neverwinter, the company announced a partnership with Blackbird Interactive on a new game.
Blackbird, developer of Homeworld, will be creating a brand new IP. Nothing else has been released about the title, but the game will be revealed at PAX East this year and released later in 2020. Since, Focus Home does not tend to publish exclusives, we can bet on it being released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One with the PS5 and Series X a possibility.
Focus Home Interactive’s John Bert, Chief Operating Officer, said today: “We are delighted to bring Blackbird on board the Focus flagship as we continue to invest in new and innovative games that will delight players for years to come. It’s also fantastic to be able to reveal this game in full at PAX East 2020, the premiere gaming culture convention running yearly in Boston, Massachusetts.”
We’ll have to wait to hear until PAX, but we’lll keep you posted on everything that is announced.
