Fresh out of TGS 2015 today we have received a new trailer featuring gameplay footage of For Honor, Ubisoft’s new sword fighting, cooperative gameplay title. It’s a third person brawler which utilizes innovative controls in order to solve the sword fighting issues that have plagued console games forever. We still have no release date on For Honor yet, but it is scheduled to launch in 2016 on PS4, Xbox One as well as PC.
For Honor uses different classes of warriors and this trailer focuses on the Oni, or Samurai. It focuses on the Kitana techniques utilized by the Oni as well as melee combat and evasive maneuverss. Although it’s made by a separate company, the grouping techniques of enemies on the screen resemble Ryse: Son of Rome with the exception that a higher majority of them are playable. For Honor will use multiple different teams of players from each class as well as AI fighters which will assist the human players on their team.
The game’s offficial site has a full breakdown of each class but be sure to watch the Oni breakdown below. Let us know what you think
