Foregone Hits Xbox, PlayStation, And Switch October 5th, New Trailer Reveals

The enticing action platformer from Big Blue Bubble Games Foregone shipped via Early Access on Epic Games Store back in February with promise to approach other platforms in the coming future. The Dead Cells-inspired title follows the role of the Arbiter as she must exterminate the invasive Harrow flooding the city of Calagan.

In a new announcement made today, Big Blue Bubble Games will officially be shipping the game to Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch this coming October. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

While Foregone is available on PC through Epic Games’ storefront, the respected Steam version is still a wait for its turn this coming the following March as the game will be unique to the current online marketplace for a full year. Unlike the currently available version, the new releases are shared to smoothen some of the rockier parts of the current build for anticipation on the console release.

“We’ve listened closely to player feedback, and have diligently worked to improve the Foregone game experience and deliver a more polished product for players to enjoy on their favorite console available this October,” Big Blue Bubble Games CEO Damir Slogar share on the announcement.

Back during PAX West last year, Rectify Gaming managed to demo a pre-early access build of the game and sample the core gameplay elements of the project. One segment of the initial reception shares that game to offer a myriad of options “from standard attacks to tactically-timed slides and primed shots made the combat slick like a baby seal.” You can read the full feature by heading here.
