In anticipation of the fourth installment in the Avengers film franchise with Avengers: Endgame, Epic Games have revealed today that a new event will be dropping this coming Thursday for Fortnite revolving around the approaching film.

On the official Fortnite twitter, the tweet details that the latest Marvel-themed event will be coming on April 25th along with the statement “Whatever it takes.” branded on the post. Alongside featuring a new image with one of the game’s heroes wielding Captain America’s iconic shield.

Previous to this news, it was revealed that Thanos could possibly be making a return to the battle royale title as dataminers discovered heavy implications from the game’s update files. But from what was shared in the announcement, nothing supports the chance of The Mad Titan truly making his way back to Fortnite.

Looking at what the tweet suggests, we can at least assume that Marvel-decorated skins will most likely be making its way to the game’s Item Shop later in the week.

Fortnite is available for free on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, and iOS.
