Back in January, fans for the upcoming New Pokémon Snap swelled with excitement to learn that the follow-up to the titular Nintendo 64 title will be arriving this spring. In a new trailer for the game, The Pokémon Company revealed that the game will be arriving at the end of April when featuring more of the new Lental Region that the game is set in.
In anticipation for the game’s release this Friday, Nintendo in collaboration with FujiFilm reveals a new Special Edition Mini Link printer for those planning to pick up the game. The Instax subsidiary shares the Pikachu bundle to include the showcase device alongside a Pikachu silicon case to wrap around the printer.
There is also a new ‘Instax for Nintendo Switch’ application for Android & iOS that allows in-game screenshots to be enabled to print on the Mini Link. You can watch the ‘Instax Your Hero’ trailer in the video below:
Featured from the extended trailer for the new smart phone app, players can choose up to three games to print from their Nintendo Switch to the Mini Link: Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Mario 3D World, and New Pokémon Snap. Additionally, there is also a selection of frames and other Nintendo-themed applicants that can be applied to pictures printed as well.
More over on the Special Edition for the promotion with Nintendo, it is revealed that the bundle will be arriving on April 30 in Japan and a later date in Europe. The firm did later clarify that there will also be a release in the United States as well sometime in May. But, there is no clear clarification as to when that will be.
Coming from Niantic recently, the Pokémon Go developer revealed to be hosting a New Pokémon Snap event for the mobile game next week as well. You can read the full report by heading here.
