Since September, there has been a major shift in how Palworld is being interpreted. For starters, the game was abruptly shipped to PlayStation 5. This welcomed a whole new platform following the massive success the game garnered in its launch for both Xbox & PC that January. Additionally, The Pokémon Company has finally spoke on the matter regarding its similarities.
‘This lawsuit seeks an injunction against infringement and compensation for damages on the grounds that Palworld, a game developed and released by the Defendant, infringes multiple patent rights,” the filing reads. Among that, Krafton was also assigned to develop a mobile release for Palworld in the near future. And, crossplay co-op also shipped as well most recently.
Now in a new development, Pocketpair announced that full fledged crossplay is now live for Palworld. The update also incudes other aspects including photo mode and a new inventory system for the core game. You can read the full list below:
- Crossplay
- Global Palbox
- Dimensional Pal Storage
- Cosmetic Armour System
- Photo Mode
- Drafting Table
- Dedicated Servers for Mac
“Buildings can now be placed even if they overlap with a Pal. When connecting foundations or roofs, the connected pieces will now automatically align in the same direction. Assigning an Ice Pal to the Flea Market will slow down item decay in storage and sales. Added torches at the entrances of random dungeons for better visibility.
“Players can now sit on chairs and cushions. Some weapons that dealt ultra-high damage to trees will no longer drop items upon destruction. Added new NPCs and improved NPC behaviour during conversations,” the overview reads from the Steam post.
