Just this Thursday, Infinity Ward gave a taste of what the multiplayer segment for this October’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be exactly and plans to show the full thing for the first-person shooter in just a couple of weeks as a matter of fact.
Following the Gunfight 2v2 livestream with Call of Duty influencers CouRageJD & OpticTeepee versus LEGIQN & ProSyndicate, Infinity Ward announced that full coverage for multiplayer will be taking place on August 1st.

From what was shown in the latest livestream for Modern Warfare’s online, the newest Gunfight mode gave just a glimpse at the potential of what Infinity Ward has secretly been working on for the past two years. Some impressive improvements to the game such as the detailed animations when wielding weapons and the overall look of the game’s engine were some of the elements that were pleasing to the eyes.
As for what to expect from the reveal for the first of next month, more traditional game modes are anticipated to be shown off like Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Hard Point to be presented. Alongside the return of familiar weapons from the initial 2007 Modern Warfare and newer guns that have yet to be introduced to the franchise also.
Regardless of the confident demeanor that Infinity Ward poses with the approaching title, let’s hope that the game will perform as anticipated when compared to the preceding title that bears the same name. As the developer has broken from the more present futuristic appeal that Black Ops 4 hold, there is more that is required to be held high more than just the name.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25, 2019.
