Though Red Dead Redemption 2 has been the talk for the town since the title’s release back in October, Rockstar Games still has plans for their 2013 title, Grand Theft Auto V with the online portion of the game. Recently, the developer revealed through Twitter that gambling and/or casinos will be hitting Los Santos pretty soon.

The tweet from Rockstar reads that “a luxury casino in the heart of Vinewood” will be opened in the coming time.

To some that played Grand Theft Auto V will be exhilarated that these social pastimes will be dropping in the game as only minigames are the closest thing to gambling such as darts or arm wrestling. But, fans more involved in the community might have seen this coming a few years now if paid attention to the finer details.

Looking at the header for this piece is the probable location for the coming casino, reading the banner on the front reads “coming soon”. Fans picked up on this when exploring since the game’s initial launch back in 2013 prior to the remastered version which dropped for modern hardware the following year. But since the discovery, nothing has been brought to when the Vinewood Casino will open, until now that is.

Especially seeing as the game was assumed to be left behind as Rockstar Games focuses more on the current action western title, it seemed that the day wouldn’t come, but now we know that’s not the case. Especially as the location has been updated in GTA Online presenting that construction on the location is in effect.

In the recent update that brought Red Dead Online out of beta, Rockstar games debuted the popular gambling pastime Poker which fans have been eager to play with their friends. You can read up on the full update here.

Grand Theft Auto V is out now for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
