Sega this past month has been slipping a few teases at October-scheduled Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD since the title’s reveal a few weeks back. The announcement trailer only showcasing in-game cutscenes of the original 2006 Wii title remastered for the current line of hardware, but as for gameplay, nothing of the slightest was truly shown off.
This week, Sega finally gave a snippet of the action that will be available with the game when it full launches later this Fall with a new gameplay trailer. In the 50-second video, the few glimpses features just a few of the 100 different main levels that will be included in the game: varying gameplay between protagonist AiAi to Baby, YanYan, and Doctor.
While Sega did settle that the official launch date for the game will be scheduled to release in late-October, the publisher now confirms that does not apply to the PC version of the fan-favorite port. In the description for the video, the sentence reads that the title will be coming to PC via Steam sometime in Winter 2020 next year. No approximate release date has been confirmed following the statement.
