The indie market on Nintendo Switch is a pedigree of different titles that continue to standout to me every time I attend one of these events like this year’s PAX East in Boston, Massachusetts. While there I spoke with Ukiami Games on the upcoming Skellboy under Slime-san publisher Fabraz and dissected some of the characteristics that defines the forthcoming title.
Shared at this recent Indie World Direct just before Gamescome in Cologne, Nintendo showcased the title with a new trailer and revealed that the pending game will be arriving the first week of December.
Did you catch the #IndieWorld stream?! We just announced that #Skellboy is coming to the #NintendoSwitch December 3rd!
And guess what?! We have a new build playable for you at the Nintendo Booth during #gamescom2019!

When speaking to the team of Ukiami Games, Music Director Bjoern answered some of my questions regarding how the game came to be and described some of the elements for the title. The most interesting answer I got from the developer was that he teased the possibility of Slime-san potentially being present in the pixelated 3D slasher through an undescribed Easter egg.
