Gamescom Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley was off to a great start with announcements including one from PlayStation. The PlayStation 5 is getting a new controller known as the DualSense Edge Wireless Controller.

The DualSense Edge is a premium controller that will come with a few extra elements compared to the regular DualSense controller. This is essentially PlayStation’s version of the Xbox Elite Controller.

Sony released a blog post on the controller revealing more information.

The DualSense Edge Wireless controller will have features such as changeable stick caps and back buttons, replaceable stick modules, Built-in DualSense wireless controller features and it will be ultra customizable to make your personal controller experience the best.

Price and release date is still unknown.
