This past week, developer Gearbox Software hosted its seventh installment of ‘The Borderlands Show’ where the development team shared all things Borderlands and discussed the next shipment of content that will be coming its way within the next month. And despite the short amount of room to breathe for the scheduled add-ons, there is surely plenty to go around for fans eager to return to Pandora once again.

Dating back to February during the Gearbox Main Theater Show during PAX East, the titular studio shed details on coming content including the then-approaching DLC story Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock which was slated for late March. Alongside the headlining details on the coming expansion for Borderlands 3, Gearbox also brushed upon further content down the road.

One happened the be the following DLC expansion for the game that Gearbox themselves paraphrased the third add-on to include “outlaws and dinosaurs” as well as sharing a sample of concept art for the teased addition. Now, Gearbox Software announced for the third paid expansion to be Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption.

You’ll travel to the harsh desert planet of Gehenna to claim a bounty on The Devil Riders, a vicious gang of bandits mounted atop fearsome beasts. The Devil Riders have been terrorizing the small town of Vestige, and you’ll have to team up with the locals if you want any hope of administering some frontier justice,” the synapse shared for the third DLC shares. “Along the way, you’ll run into fresh faces like Rose, a warrior who’s adept with pistol and katana alike, and Juno, a rough-and-tumble brawler with a checkered past.

“Your actions will have a direct impact on Vestige and its denizens, as you help build the town back up through story missions and Crew Challenges alike. As you do your part to restore order to Gehenna, the narrator will chime in to provide commentary on the action, or just give a bit of insight into some characters’ innermost thoughts.” As for what players can expect on Gehenna, it was revealed that players can mount newly customizable hover bikes.

While it is expected to be a mountable killing machine, Gearbox Creative Director Matt Cox tells that the new vehicle can also reach new heights to hard to reach places that players would not expect to approach previously. Alike the tease for this paid DLC, Gearbox Software also shared an image of the next add-on. This time of a ‘psycho-delic’ composition to give players what to expect from the following expansion.

Earlier this year, Gearbox Software also released the Steam version for Borderlands 3 which also enabled the first sample of cross-platform play between the storefront and Epic Games Store. You can read the full reveal by heading here.
