A surprise that nobody expected, a Gears of War card game by Steamforged Games is coming out sometime this year. The Xbox Game Studio exclusive has been talked about a lot in 2023 with expectations of a Gears of War 6 being released or even announced.
On January 6th, Steamforged Games made an announcement via Twitter that Gears of War: The Card Game is coming out in 2023.

Steamforged is known for making board games for titles such as Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Horizon Zero Dawn, Devil May Cry and more. Now they will add Gears of War to the list.
No other details were released as far as what the Card Game will actually be.
