It looks that trends introduced in prior Ubisoft Paris titles never truly die: it was earlier this year that the team kept on with the trend of Arnold Schwarzenegger movie franchises intertwinned with the Ghost Recon series with the addition of Predator in 2017’s Wildlands and now with Terminator in the latest entry, Breakpoint. Now, the same can also be applied to imbedded Tom Clancy series as a certain Echelon agent has made an surprise appearance once again.

Speaking of specifically, I’m referencing Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher. Back in 2018, the protagonist of the definitive book series and video game franchise also happened to made an appearance in Ghost Recon: Wildlands as well offering a new selection of missions and unique loadout of in-game weapons for completing the added story.

Starting today, Ubisoft Paris will be adding the first mission of the arrived Deep State storyline which will span across 10 assignments in total with a selection of new themed items and two new classes to experiment with on Aurora. Here are all the in-game rewards available from the Deep State:

  • Blacklist Helicopter | Standard and Victor Coste Figure
  • Sam Fisher Figure
  • SC-IS HDG
  • 4th Echelon Fullmask
  • 4th Echelon Goggles
  • 4th Echelon Gloves
  • 4th Echelon Pants
  • 4th Echelon Shoes
  • 4th Echelon Top

Dissecting the characteristics of the two classes are divided into the following: Echelon & Engineer. The first class named rightly after the intelligence organization, players will be granted Sonar Vision to sense enemies through obstacles and the Shock Pistol to dismember hostiles stealthily. While on the other hand – Engineer Class will be equipped with a Defensive Drone to attack enemies in the vicinity and Supply Drone to deliver extra munitions to Ghosts running low.

Mission 1, which is available now, can be picked up by any user who already owns the base game for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. However, to take on the full story for Sam Fisher’s mission on Aurora, you must either purchase the Year One Pass or the separate Deep State Adventure package.

Do you plan on returning to Ghost Recon Breakpoint for this new event?

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
