Extended Ops is the next free update coming to Ghost Recon: Wildlands Ghost Wars and this time brings us a new content to return to Bolivia and be part of the PVP action.
This new update will feature a new gamemode Extraction. Similar to Rainbow 6 Siege’s TDM Hostage, teams will play against each other to either defend or extract a hostage place on the map. There are two hostages to choose from, but only one is needed to be extracted to win the round before time runs out. Both Garage and Institute will be available maps for Extraction when this update is available to play.
Usually from other updates feature a new class or weapons, but Extended Ops lack that this time around by featuring only cosmetics called Icon Costumes. Which showcase costumes from Rainbow 6 Siege and Wildlands Cartel for right now.
Along with this update is a list of patches/fixes which you can see the full list on the Ghost Recon Blog.
Extened Ops will be available on January 25, 2017 for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
