While the competition for free game programs appears to be set between both Microsoft & Sony Interactive Entertainment with Xbox Live Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus respectively, many don’t acknowledge Stadia Pro as part of that discussion. And with months while Xbox and PlayStation shipped four games, Stadia continued to be generous with six games at a time for multiple announcements.
Last month, Google unveiled that its month for July 2021 will include titles Moonlighter, Street Power Football, Terraria, And The Darkside Detective are to be featured then. More interesting is the addition of Terraria after a previous debacle between the game studio and Google at one point left the project to be cancelled for the platform.
Now on Tuesday this week, Google went on to share that August for Stadia Pro will offer a free demo weekend for Marvel’s Avengers & Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game. But, over on Twitter, the firm shares that Killer Queen Black, Valkyria Chronicles 4, GRIME. It Came From Space & Ate Our Brains, and Epistory – Typing Chronicles.
This week, Google went on to ship a beta for another Stadia-exclusive feature. Promised during its original announcement, Crowd Play which queues players into multiplayer lobbies with their favorite streamers enters closed testing this week. You can read the full report by heading here.
