In the last couple of months, Google continued to kill it in its efforts to align with the likes of Xbox Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus. Only having a year under its belt since the inauguration of the video game streaming platform last November, Google did not hesitate to initiate its own form of free game subscription service for its users – Stadia Pro.
As of recent, the last few months included some eye-opening additions including Risk of Rain 2, Superhot: Control Mind Delete, and Hitman 2. Among those offered, each monthly addition included six titles which continued to breath more life into Stadia as a platform. But for this coming January, the firm is turning down the heat after the last few bangers.
In a new blog post, Google unveils that January 2021’s free game lineup for Stadia Pro will only incorporate four games rather than the regular six. You can read the full list below:

Not only that, but Google is also adding one more game to December Stadia Plus roster. So alongside the likes of Everspace, Kine, and Secret Neighbor, Google is now including Cthulhu Saves Christmas as a last minute addition for the holiday season. Stadia Pro owners starting today can enjoy the light-hearted entry.

While not a complete review, he elaborates it is a good enough game to play in front of his kids when taking a break from the massively violent games we are overly accustomed to.
“As a game for my son to enjoy as a spectator, it’s far more successful,” he explains. “The game’s bright and colorful, it’s characters are well designed and the monsters are relatively harmless. The game, despite not being great, is adequate at changing the environments and has okay variety in it’s moment to moment gameplay.” You can read the full piece by heading here.
