While many fans sit hungry for a new Batman game to arrive, the DC Comics franchise is expecting two games: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League & Gotham Knights. More so on the latter game, the title is a new entry from Warner Bros. Montreal (Batman Arkham Origins) set in the universe of the caped crusader as his noble sidekicks star in their own experience simultaneously.
Robin, Bat Girl, Nightwing, and Red Hood all form a squad of crime fighters as they take on the namely foes and villains that Batman is most recognized facing off against. Scheduled for a 2021 release, Warner Bros. Montreal is expected to showcase more on the upcoming game at a later that. Or, that was until the latest announcement for the game.
In that, Warner Bros. Montreal on the official Gotham Knights Twitter account announces that more time for the game will be needed and decided to push its release into 2022.

“We are giving the game more time to deliver the best possible experience for players,” the developer writes in the letterhead. “Thank you to our amazing fans for your tremendous support of Gotham Knights. We look forward to showcasing more of the game in the coming months.”
