2013’s Grand Theft Auto V has proven time and time again to be one of the most landmark commercial titles to hit the video game market in history as the game has broken records since its initial release and continues to stay relevant in unit purchases as fans are still purchasing the game leading into the new decade. However, now there is one more way that the game will be accessed for those who still might not have picked what be the game of the decade.

Earlier today, the official Twitter account for Xbox Game Pass posted a brief video of Michael De Santa sitting on his couch to turn on the TV and learn that the game he stars in will be available for Xbox Game Pass that same day.

To make a clarification before players take this announcement out of context, Grand Theft Auto V is only available for the console version of Xbox Game Pass. Unfortunately, the game will not be provided for those who own Xbox Game Pass on PC.

While the story continues to stay the same, Rockstar Games does continue to upload endless free updates to GTA Online for players to hop back in and earn more in-game currency to hit the next big job. Most recently, Rockstar shipped a new heist where your character and some friends must formulate a new job to take down the Diamond Casino and Resort and seize what’s hiding in the core of the gambling operation. You can read the full report for that by heading here.

In other Xbox Game Pass related news, Microsoft shared previously that both Just Cause 3 and Lego City Undercover will both be departing from the Netflix-esque game subscription service in the coming future. Dates on when that is has yet to be disclosed.

Do you plan on picking up Grand Theft Auto V with Xbox Game Pass?

Grand Theft Auto V is available now for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
