Grand Theft Auto 6 is reportedly entering its final stages of development as reported by Jason Schreier of Bloomberg. According to the outlet, Rockstar Games is going to ask employees to return to work in the office five days a week starting in April and this indicates the developer is in its final stages of developing GTA 6.

Rockstar Head of Publishing, Jenn Kolbe says the reasoning behind this is for productivity and security reasons since a lot of leaks had previously dropped for the next Grand Theft Auto ahead of its reveal.

“Making these changes now puts us in the best position to deliver the next Grand Theft Auto at the level of quality and polish we know it requires, along with a publishing roadmap that matches the scale and ambition of the game,” Jenn said to Bloomberg in an email.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is the most anticipated game for 2025 and the announcement trailer already surpassed GTA 5’s trailer in views.
