So far, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s rein for PlayStation Plus as of this year remains to be consistent in terms of the offered titles for its all-tiered free games. From March last month, the PlayStation firm offered Battlefield 2042, Code Vein, and Minecraft Dungeons. Then in April, the service introduced Meet Your Maker, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Tails of Iron also.
For the other higher priced tiers, the subscription continues to offer premium titles to the library. This month alone featured Doom Eternal, Kena: Bridge Of Spirits, and Riders Republic just to name a few. However, the service will be restructuring next month as PlayStation Plus will be dismantling the PlayStation Plus Collection initiative, it confirmed already.
This week, Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the next batch of free titles for Essential, Extra, and Premium members for PlayStation Plus. Those games are Grid Legends, Chivalry II and Descenders. Of course, subscribers still have until May 1st to install this month’s Meet Your Maker, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Tails of Iron free downloads if they have not already.
There is more to the announcement. In that, Both Grid Legends & Chivalry II will feature versions for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. But, the same cannot be said for Descenders. The game via the official PlayStation Blog post reveals the game is only offering a native PlayStation 4 version of the title.
From the trio, we recommend you read our review for Chivalry II. “Torn Banner Studios has delivered one of 2021’s best games, and anybody looking for fun time should hop in without question,” critic David Rodriguez shares for his time on the game. You can read the full piece by heading here.
