To put it lightly, Remnant: From the Ashes is one of Rectify Gaming’s top rated releases from 2019, as per our critic David Rodriguez. “Remnant: From the Ashes is a fantastic experience. The unique world that Gunfire created really spoke to me, and the gameplay was such a refreshing change of pace from the usual assortment of bid budget triple-A games.”
He continues, “So whatever you do, just give Remnant a shot and try it for yourself. What you will find is a fantastic, tactical action RPG with a story and a world as fun to experience with as it’s combat and game design is to play with.” But, while the game receive high praise on current-generation hardware, the title has yet to receive its booster shot to the newest line of Xbox & PlayStation consoles.
But, developer Gunfire Games in a new announcement shares enhancements for Remnant: From the Ashes is to be administered for free next week.
Remnant: From the Ashes will receive a free major upgrade patch that will add the option to run the game at 4K resolution at 30fps the PlayStation5 and Xbox Series X, or 1080p resolution at 60fps on both the PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X/S!
With no better timing, it was just announced earlier this week that Remnant: From the Ashes is to arrive to Xbox Game Pass for PC. While the game isn’t expecting an update for users wielding keyboard & mouse, there is cross-play with the title that bridges lobbies with Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S users.
The same can also be said for PlayStation to some extent. For the monthly helping of free games from March this year, Remnant: From the Ashes was among those titles. So players that managed to install the game at the time should be able to drop right in when the update goes live later the following week. You can read the full report by heading here.
