Hades II from Supergiant Games has been in Early Access since Spring 2024, and it made an appearance during last week’s Nintendo Switch 2 Direct. The developer announced that the fan-favorite roguelike action role-playing game will be coming to the Switch 2 as a console exclusive.

Supergiant released a video in partnership with Nintendo as part of the Creator’s Voice video series, sharing more about the game. It hasn’t been confirmed what the specs are for Hades 2 on the Switch 2, but the developer mentions that 60 fps gameplay is important.

While it was announced that Hades 2 will launch “first for consoles on Nintendo Switch 2,” Supergiant Games clarified it will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 1 as well when it reaches v1.0. A release date has not been announced, but it will be released later this year.

Hades 2 will also be releasing on PC the same day it releases for Nintendo Switch.
