Halo-esc Splitgate Coming To PC On May 22

1047 Games have been the talk of the town with their upcoming and potential esports hit, Splitgate: Arena Warfare since the game’s announcement more than a year ago now. And with the title’s appearance at several events showcasing what the game has to offer, the game’s developer has officially revealed that Splitgate will be dropping at the end of the month.

Looking at the flashy release date trailer, 1047 goes straight to the action by presenting the multiple opportunities available when in a game. Flanking, frags, and teabags: the trailer emphasizes throughout the duration of the video.

As many of us are aware of the differentiating shooters that currently sit in the current market, Splitgate stands out from the others with the game changing portal mechanic which players continue to find new ways to win over the opposing team. Along with transparent nods to the more known Halo series, this multiplayer first-person shooter looks to bring familiar elements while providing a new and more energetic experience to the genre.

Back in April, we visited 1047 Games and discussed some factors surrounding Splitgate and what the full title will offer. You can read our coverage on the game here.

Splitgate: Arena Warfare will be available for PC on May 22, 2019.
