After a near-decade wait, the Halo Television Series is close to arriving. Since its inception back in 2013, the production did not start taking form until 2018 came. Around that time it was confirmed that the TV show would air uniquely at the time on Showtime. But, as streaming service continued to rise, the decision was then ushered to Paramount+ in a later announcement in 2021.
It was this past holiday that teasers continued to appear online disclosing what the television show will try to execute coming next year. One brief trailer was revealed during Xbox’s 20th anniversary while an extended trailer was later presented at The Game Awards in December. This weekend, another trailer aired and it delivered a lot more.
In that, we now know the Halo Television Series is set to air coming this March on the 24th. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
Majority of the trailer appears to be applauded from viewers that caught the footage from the NFL AFC Championship game or online. However, there are some caveats many are twisted about. One is the voice of Master Chief which actor Pablo Schreiber is portraying Spartan-117. Additionally, the reveal of Cortana is also eerie to some despite Jen Taylor reprising her role for the character in the live-adaptation series.
Noted, 343 Industries did express that the universe the Halo Television Series is set in does not direct;y reflect the canon of the game series. So elements of the show will be reworked to fit for the storyline of the show which is better expressed in the medium. You can read the full report by heading here.
