Crazy as it might seem that Microsoft-published Halo: The Master Chief Collection is finally set to arrive to PC as well as Steam in less than a day from now, the game has already popped the cap for anticipated users as the game is currently standing at the most sold title on the storefront. With the entire anthology of Halo games available with this bundle, the $39.99 price tag is a fair deal for those wielding keyboard & mouse compared to the initial $59.99 when it launched for console back in 2014.
And while upcoming and returning Halo fans are now itching to play the franchise once again on PC, another impressive note is that as of reporting this achievement for the Master Chief Collection alone, Halo: Reach is also ranked in the top selling as the third most sold game on Steam as well.
Bouncing back to early November last month, development team 343 Industries disclosed the official PC specifications & requirements for Halo: Reach which showed to be very accessible for those striving towards 4K resolution and 60 frames per second performance. Among the Windows 10 and Steam versions available, the two will support cross platform play at launch, but Xbox One users will be left in the dark.
However, those who plan on jumping ship between the three listed platforms can do so chain-free as cross progression has been confirmed to be supported upon releasing this Tuesday. In the past two few weeks more has unraveled for the returning 2010 title which revealed more additions being added to the game’s respected map editor, Forge mode. As well as a new batch of achievements have also been shared with a heavy influence from some of the fonder easter eggs that are imbedded throughout the game’s story campaign.
Which platform do you plan on picking up Halo Reach for tomorrow?
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently available for Xbox One; coming to PC on December 3, 2019.
