Developer for Pokemon Go, Niantic has revealed some information on the upcoming AR Harry Potter title.

A tweet for the game was posted detailing some of the game’s story; fans will take on the role to prevent magic from reaching the muggle world by joining the Statute of Secrecy Task Force. As signs of the magic continue to breach the muggle world, you and your friends will have to prevent this from continuing to happen.

For what’s to be introduced for the gameplay wasn’t detailed. According to the game’s website, it asks for “proficiency in advanced casting of multiple spells.” This incorporated with the already known format from Pokemon Go, fans should have an easy time grabbing the mobile title.

It’s always welcoming to have another game adaptation from J.K. Rowling’s series of novels. As we wait patiently for the official conformation on the unnamed AAA Harry Potter title from Avalanche Software, this along with Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will keep fans of the franchise occupied until then.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has a set time frame in 2019 for Android and iOS.
