Although Sony Interactive Entertainment is packed to the teeth with creative talent for its first-party division, the list grew welcoming Haven Entertainment Studios. For that, formerly coming from Stadia Games & Entertainment Jade Raymond formed a new team to work on an original PlayStation IP. Swiftly after, the team was acquired to be a PlayStation Studios developer.
And while the team grew, Raymond continued to recruit more from her previous work with a handful of other Stadia employees grazing over to Haven Studios. Even her involvement at Ubisoft with Assassin’s Creed made an impact as art director Raphael Lacoste also joined the developer later on too.
At the recent PlayStation Showcase on Wednesday, Haven Entertainment Studios & Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the first title from new team, Fairgames$. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:
“Fairgame$ will give you an opportunity to break the rules as a modern-day Robin Hood, a thrill seeker, or just someone who wants to collect cool loot. Trespass inside forbidden locations around the world, fill your pockets like a kid in a candy store and unravel the nefarious plans of untouchable billionaires,” Haven Studios creative director Mathieu Leduc explains.
“Every member of our team shares our vision to create welcoming and inclusive multiplayer experiences that glue communities together. This shared enthusiasm is the driving force behind our heist fantasy – how it really encourages you to work together in crews to plan and execute epic heists in the style and fashion you want.”
