Last week in an abrupt announcement, publisher 2K announced that Golf Club will be receiving a new image dubbed PGA Tour. The firm told that the game will receive an official reveal in the coming week for fans to be anticipated for 2K21 later this year. The game was shared to still be operated by developer HB Studios, so it already showed promise for the new series.

Now in a new announcement this week, both 2K & HB Studios share that the wait for the next major golf title will not be too far away as PGA Tour 2K21 will be arriving this coming August. You can watch the full reveal trailer in the video below:

The summer-slated title as shared from the trailer will include well-recognized athletes in the Professional Golfers’ Association including the cover athlete for the game, Justin Thomas. You can expect to face these players in expansive career mode for the game that will run across 15 popular courses leading up to the FedExCup Championship.

Furthermore on the featured courses, HB Studios shares that all stretches have been scanned and transferred into the game using “cutting-edge tech” to properly capture the essence of participating at the respected course. Players can also indulge in the Course Designer allowing users to design and play their own fairways. Utilizing the greens, bunkers, trees, and lakes to your own desires is up to you.

Expanding on the aspect of MyPlayer, users can take advantage of associated brands like Polo and Bridgestone Golf to properly attire their player when in career or playing online. Heading over to the clubhouse, you can invite other users to partake in tournaments or full seasons and allowing you to structure the rule book for how each session will perform.
