Back tracking to mid July, developer First Watch Games and publisher Hi-Rez Studios abruptly unveiled that Rogue Company will be hitting supported platforms that day. Given that fans do have the opportunity to play for free if nabbing an access code for the closed beta, purchasing the Starter Founders Pack will grant instant entry to the unique playtest ahead of the later open beta in the unannounced future.
As said, neither firms went to elaborate on when the game will be going open for anticipated players, so waiting commenced until today. In that, Hi-Rez Studios shares that Rogue Company will be entering its open beta phase starting today on all platforms. You can watch the new trailer paired with the recent announcement in the video below:
“Rogue Company mercenaries are indispensable to solving the world’s deadliest and most challenging missions,” the overview for the game reads on Hi-Rez Studios’ website. “Group up with friends and dominate the competition in various PVP game modes in iconic locations.”
In this new opportunity to welcome new players to Rogue Company, First Watch Games also revealed the newest Rogue to the game, Dahlia. Illustrated from the trailer, she is a versatile yet tactical character. She can attack from long distances with her MX-R Marksman Rifle and MM5 submachine gun for close encounters. Paired with passive ‘Buddy System’ linking other character passives per game and ‘Danger Close’ allowing players to be revived when in close proximity.
