Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has been out in the wild now and with 400 Pokemon available to catch, it can be difficult to remember what you need next for your Pokedex. Two Pokemon that we are going to focus on here are Murkrow and Misdreavus and that’s because they have similar evolution scenarios.

How to evolve Murkrow into Honchkrow

Murkrow does not evolve through leveling up so for it to turn into Honchkrow you will need a Dusk Stone in order to accomplish this.

In order to obtain a Dusk Stone there are a couple ways to do so. The first way is to catch 130 and you’ll get a reward from your Pokedex. Another way to find a Dusk Stone is behind the Ghost gym which is located in the Glaseado Mountain area.

Those are some of the easier ways to obtain the Dusk Stone in Pokemon Violet and Scarlet.

Use the stone on Murkrow and you should have yourself a Honchkrow and that takes care of the issue you might’ve been facing with the Pokedex.

How to evolve Misdreavus into Mismagius

Just like the Murkrow, you don’t have to worry about wasting your XP Candies on Misdreavus because you’ll need another Dusk Stone to evolve it into a Mismagius.

If you followed both ways to get a Dusk Stone as said above, you’ll be able to do this as well.

All you have to do is use the Dusk Stone on Misdreavus and it should evolve into Mismagius.
