MultiVersus released with a wide variety of fighters for players to unlock and with a free-to-play fighting game like this there are a few ways you can acquire these fighters. When you first start the game you’ll have access to characters, but for a limited time and they’ll reset to others letting players get a feel of the fighter in case they’d like to unlock them.
Unlocking fighters in MultiVersus isn’t like other fighting titles like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. To unlock fighters you can use Gleamium, the premium in-game currency, or the Fighter currency that is slowly earned from playing the game.

To unlock fighters in MultiVersus with Gleamium it will cost you 1,000 for each character. The reason this seems cheaper is because Gleamium can be acquired with real money.
If you want to unlock characters with the Fighter currency, you’ll need to save 3,000 of it to spend on one character.
The other way to unlock fighters in MultiVersus is through the Battle Pass as there will be exclusive characters only available through there like Jason Voorhees.
