Sonic the Hedgehog is having a huge Steam sale today for up to 95% off each game. The most noticeable one, Sonic Generations + Casino Nights DLC, is $1. Yes, this is not a typo, it is actually $1, 95% off the regular price. If you don’t own this game on Steam, even if you have it on other platforms, don’t skip this.

But if you already have the game and still haven’t had your Sonic fix, there are plenty of games from that franchise to choose from.

If you like classic side-scrolling games, then the first five Sonic The Hedgehog games (Sonic 1 to 4, Episode 2) will whet your appetite. Sonic CD also fits in this category. Prices range from $1.24 to $2.49 each.

Sonic Mania is also a “classic” side-scroller game, but in the “modern” setting. Price is $6.79 for the base and $2.49 for the DLC Encore.

If you’re into 3D, then Sonic 3D Blast ($1.24), Sonic Lost World ($7.49), and Sonic Adventure 2 ($2.49 for the base and $0.74 for the DLC Battle) are the games to get.

For racing fans, here are Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing ($2.49) and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Collection ($4.99)

Unfortunately, Sonic Adventure DX – Director’s Cut is not on sale. It still costs $7.99, but it remains disappointing that it’s not part of the sale.

However, If you prefer to buy the “Ultimate Bundle”, it will cost $75.31, but it may not be cost effective because Team Sonic Racing is at a regular price ($39.99).

Gamers will be thankful that Sonic ’06 and Rise of Lyric aren’t included.

Sonic the Hedgehog had tremendous success in theaters and it continues to do so in the gaming world.
