#IDARB 2 Is Under Development And Is Planned To Release In 2020

While every E3 conference is over and done with, the Xbox team had been doing their annual live streams during the event at the Mixer Dome. If you haven’t seen these before they usually interview multiple developers about upcoming games, updates, and sometimes have announcements. Well, yesterday Mike Mika joined by Head of ID@Xbox announced that they are making #IDARB2.

In 2015 #IDARB was first released and in case you aren’t familiar with the game it’s a chaotic 8-player eSport jumping future arena ball game. It was launched for Xbox One and became available on Windows 10 PC through play anywhere.

The game is said to release in Fall 2020 and we assume that the platforms will include Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC. The possibility of a PlayStation 4 version is possibly up there, but we have not heard of anything regarding the exact platforms. A cool feature that #IDARB had was that if you streamed the game the chat could have a part in the game and change up the stage to shake up the competition.

The team is looking for any and all ideas for the game as well.

We are excited to see what’s new in #IDARB2 and you bet we will be providing updates on this game.
