Immortals Fenyx Rising Receives Official Announcement, Arriving December 3rd

When approaching today’s Ubisoft Forward this past week or so, we happened to learn a lot about Ubisoft Quebec’s upcoming Gods & Monsters. One being that the title for the game happens to be just a placeholder as it was discovered that the new titling is actually Immortals Fenyx Rising derived from a rating in Taiwan. That was followed by Ubisoft verifying the reporting and sharing the project to be showcased at the online event.

But again, more details continued to seep through as it was uncovered elsewhere on the Microsoft Store that Immortals Fenyx Rising would in fact be shipping the first week of December. The listing also spared a brief synapse telling of the titular protagonist Fenyx to be the last hope for the ancient gods of Greek mythology.

Now during today’s Ubisoft Forward showcase, the publisher properly unveiled the game with a new trailer branded with Immortals Fenyx Rising on the front this time around. You can watch the world premiere trailer in the video below:

“Immortals Fenyx Rising is a fresh and witty take on the open world action adventure genre, featuring dynamic action, combat and stories inspired by Greek mythology,” the overview shares in the trailer’s description. “Roam freely across a beautifully stylized world and use extraordinary abilities gifted by the gods against fearsome mythological monsters. Treacherous trials, heroic feats and the very underworld itself await your bravery.”

Reflecting on the previous report from this June, there was a brief window where users on Stadia had the opportunity to play a build of the then-Gods & Monsters. The playtest was removed with no wording as to what will come after. Well now, Ubisoft announced in collaboration with Google that a playable demo will be arriving exclusively to Stadia later on in the coming weeks to the streaming platform.
