The end of January 2023 will go down in history as a great week for games as Forspoken started it all out then followed by Hi-Fi Rush that came out of nowhere from Microsoft & Tango Gameworks. According to SteamDB. Hi-Fi Rush has outperformed Forspoken in both their first week and that’s using the top sellers for the week chart on their site.

Hi-Fi Rush placed at #8 while Forspoken didn’t even make the Top 10 list. It caught all of us off guard when Tango Gameworks shadow dropped their game during the Xbox Developer_Direct on January 25.

Pointed out by BenjiSales on Twitter, Hi-Fi Rush being a $30.00 USD game generated more revenue than $70.00 USD title, Forspoken.

Many people didn’t expect to play a new Xbox console exclusive game, but here we are as the game has outperformed many titles. Dead Space also appeared on the list for top sellers as if that’s any surprise.

Hi-Fi Rush is a console exclusive to Xbox and will not launch on PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch.
