While the next Call of Duty installment is just over a month away with Black Ops Cold War from developer Treyarch, Infinity Ward is prepping to release another major update for the current Call of Duty: Modern Warfare starting tomorrow. After a teaser cinematic trailer revealing that story campaign protagonists Farah & Nikolai will be playable Operators in the expected season 6, the team shares what else is primed to hit multiplayer and Warzone in the coming weeks.

In a new official trailer for season 6, Infinity Ward showcases new additions such as starring Operators, maps, weapons, and new features unique to the title update. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

Most evident from the trailer is the addition of the subway fast travel system making a comeback to Warzone allowing players the ability to traverse across Verdansk easily. Another exciting element is the new game mode, Armored Royale: squads will drop with armored trucks and can respawn endlessly while their APC is intact. But once it’s gone, so is the ability to resurrect back into the game.

Of course, there is also new vistas for players to visit in multiplayer when taking a break from Warzone. For online matchmaking, players can find Broadcast and Mailstor Tank Factory both available when the update ships; Station for Gunfight; and Verdansk Riverside for Ground War. Multiplayer also gets teased game modes like Killstreak Confirmed, Hard Point Hills & Kills, Gun Game TDM, HQ Firefight, Gunfight Tournament, and TDM Snipers Only.

New weapons included in season 6 are the SP-R 208 Sniper Rifle and AS VAL Assault Rifle. Leading into October, Infinity Ward also teases a Halloween-themed event dubbed ‘Haunting of Verdansk’. However, much detail on the timed event has yet to be released aside from the titling of the experience. Regardless, it is suspected to be a gloomy and frightening experience for Warzone players.

And as Infinity Ward has promised previously, file sizes for new season look to be minimized and compressed for season 6. PlayStation 4 is requiring 19 GB while Xbox One users need 23 GB of space. On PC, 57 GB will be needed for the base game on top of while Warzone asks for an additional 25 GB.
