
It was earlier today that Bloomberg Tech reporter Jason Schreier disclosed that Insomniac Games will be present during Sony’s PlayStation 5 showcase later on. While not mentioning much entirely, he does share that whatever the new title is – it isn’t a new mainline entry for 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man. And in fact, Schreier is right, it isn’t a full installment, instead it’s a spin-off title that is underway.
During the digital event, Sony alongside Insomniac Games unveiled Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Derived from the titling, the game this time will follow the tale of the titular hero who shares the same abilities as Peter Parker. You can watch the full trailer in the video below:
But following the initial reveal trailer for the new title, no other details were spared as of reporting. Insomniac Games nor Sony has shared what exactly differentiates the coming PlayStation 5 exclusive entry from its name-sharing predecessor. But looking at the synapse experience from the trailer, it will be jam-packed with action and thrilling visuals for fans of the first game.
Adding to the ‘Holiday 2020’ listed release date for the game, it is suspected that the game could possibly launch for the new console as the advertised hardware is also sharing the same release window in the latter of this year.
