Insomniac Games To Offer Cross-save For Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered For PlayStation 5 In A Post-Launch Update

Upon learning that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is launching in November for PlayStation 5 alongside the next-generation console, Insomniac Games shared that fans can also find a remaster for 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man to also release. Previously, it was reported that a reworked version of the game would be available, but now, Insomniac Games fully embodies the claims with the announcement.

However, it was shortly learned after the unveiling that players would have no way to properly carry over their save progress from the PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 5. In a larger perspective, this comes as no surprise since Sony Interactive Entertainment disclosed the feature is a decision decided by the respected developer.

But in a new tweet made by Insomniac Games, fans can expect their progression to be available for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered by Thanksgiving.

In addition to that, Insomniac Games is also including three new costume variants for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man suit, Arachnid Rider suit, and Armored Advanced Suit. This comes just after the announcement of the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse suit pre-order bonus for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
