Microsoft as of late has been adding more of its games to other platforms. We recently have seen Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, Grounded, and Pentiment come to PlayStation 5. What we haven’t seen yet was the most iconic Xbox games such as Halo and Gears of War.
According to previous rumors, Xbox Game Studios is planning to bring Halo: The Master Chief Collection to other platforms including Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.
When Will Halo Come To PlayStation 5?
Phil Spencer, the CEO of Microsoft Gaming, stated in an interview this year that there is no specific restriction on which Xbox games will be available on other platforms. While there are rumors of Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to PS5 it seems more likely that the Halo franchise is going to arrive on Sony’s console in 2025.
It is unclear if Halo Infinite and Halo 5: Guardians will also come to PlayStation 5, but allowing players to experience the beginning of the Master Chief era would make sense.
