Ivory Tower Announces Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 Support For The Crew 2 Comes This Summer

Examining the long roster of titles that Ubisoft has supported in its time of being a publisher, The Crew stands to be one that still receives an impressive number of players well into its post-launch phase. Alongside For Honor which illustrates to continue support for its game with an ongoing content flow, Ivory Tower is doing a similar thing with its sequel racer title.

However, 2022 will mark year five for The Crew 2 which released in 2018 and will feature even more content to the game. With that is to feature three more in-game seasons, new vehicles, new live events, and “new ways to explore the open world of The Crew 2,” Ubisoft greatly wrote it in the blog post.

Watching the overview video for The Crew 2’s Year Five, it reveals native support for Xbox Series & PlayStation 5 consoles are on the way when the official start launches this July. You can watch the video below:

“As you might expect, we have been investigating a matter the matter for quite a while, but it has been a bit more complex than it seems. We’ve been able to make huge development strides and we have now entered the testing phase,” Quentin Betton, Live Project Coordinator said. “But we still have some distance to cover to get where we would like to be.

“Over the past few months we have been conducting tests to bring improvements to our open world. We know the sky and weather are essential elements that influence the mood of the game, so we are planning visual changes on all platforms that we believe our players will like.” An approximate release date has yet to be confirmed for The Crew 2’s Year Five.
