Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Post-Launch Road Map Details Revealed

The Kingdom Come series has remained to keep players gauged despite the series only expanding across two installments thus far. And with the second entry on only releasing this week, there is plenty the IP can offer looking forward. With the prior acquisition from THQ Nordic back in 2019, developer Warhorse Studios has remained steady in offering a fully completed title for the sequel.

However, although the game is to be an authentic release for 9th generation hardware, there has been some troubling developments in regard to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. It was revealed earlier in summer 2024 that the developer is not in favor of the Xbox Series S. Despite the business model to favor entry-level options for consumers, the list of teams finding troubling compromises for the system only grows.

Recently, the developer revealed the roadmap for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II’s post-launch plans. Spanning across the whole of 2025 will offer new content per calendar season. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“Spring: Enjoy a selection of updates, free for everyone, introducing a Barbers feature to customise your look, a Hardcore Mode for those seeking a greater challenge, and Horse Racing, where you can hone your mounted skills and uncover hidden surprises. Summer: Brushes with Death – Embark on a thrilling quest as Henry aids an enigmatic artist with a shadowy past. Journey across the lands of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, facing perilous encounters and unravelling a web of dangerous schemes.

“Autumn: Legacy of the Forge – Dive into Henry’s roots by exploring the legacy of Martin, his adoptive father. Work to restore a once-renowned forge and prove your skills in the art of blacksmithing as you uncover forgotten tales of the past. Winter: Mysteria Ecclesia – Enter the Sedlec Monastery, where intrigue runs deep. Tasked with a covert mission, Henry must navigate the complex dynamics of the region, discovering hidden truths and navigating a maze of conflicting interests.”
