Just over a month ago, the Microsoft Store disclosed the presence of the unannounced Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. In the listing for Xbox and PC, it disclosed that the new retuning property would be shipping fairly soon – this August in fact. However, it was this week that the publisher unveils the title officially and provides a release date slated the following month in September.
In the press release for the coming title, THQ Nordic does not acknowledge the leak and does not press on the later release than submitted to the Microsoft Store. But the publisher does press on new content for the game. In that, THQ Nordic announces that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will be receiving a new expansion following the game’s release next year.
As of reporting, there are not details to expand further on the following Fatesworn add-on for the new title. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:
Alongside the stanard version for Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, players anticipating to return to the game’s world can show their excitement with flashy pre-order editions for the game. THQ Nordic announces the Fate Edition running for $54.99 which offers the base game as well as the Fatesworn expansion.
For the more intense fans, there is the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Collector’s Edition. This bundle includes the contents of the Fate Edition along with Alyn Shir figurine, Amalur keychain, five pieces of concept art, a copy of the highly-received Grant Kirkrope soundtrack, and a decorated box. The Collector’s Edition is priced at $109.99.
