One ongoing development comes from Konami in terms of its legacy properties. Decades later, fans are still talking about Metal Gear & Silent Hill hoping the publisher is listening to create more original titles or adapt for new hardware. Already, one title underway is Silent Hill 2. With Bloober Team at the helm, the Layers of Fear developer is working on a definitive reimagining for PlayStation 5.
Additionally, reports of a remake for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is being tossed around. One report told the game is planned to ship as a PlayStation exclusive. But a separate source shares that the game is now aimed to hit Xbox as well as PlayStation. Regardless, it is understood an announcement is imminent as we’ve learned earlier on in 2023.
At the PlayStation Showcase, Konami unveiled Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. You can watch the announcement trailer in the video below:

Get ready for the ultimate survival, stealth and action experience,” Konami writes for the synopsis of the game on the official teaser website.
