In the long list of GTA Online updates that still continue to arrive to the 2013 title, the latest update seems to expand on the already diverse and content filled GTA Online. Titled ‘Arena War’ introduces a new arsenal of destructive vehicles with a workshop to customize how you plan to bring mayhem in the new vehicle rampage arena.
In the update, Rockstar Games is introducing “7 deadly arena events” to play when you hop into GTA Online:
- Wreck It – A Nascar-inspired race with a demolition derby twist added.
- Carnage – Fight to the death with a selection of destructive vehicles to choose from and come out as the last man standing.
- Flag War – Standard capture the flag except with a more carnage infused outcome.
- Tag Team – Just like the name, only one opponent on each team in the arena with their teammates helping on the sidelines as only one vehicle can survive.
- Hot Bomb – Vehicular hot potato: players will have to trade off the bomb as the timer counts down by crashing into each other.
- Games Masters – one team sets up traps while the other must survive their crafted course.
- Here Comes The Monsters – Letting the lions loose in a colosseum-esc gametype, monster trucks with the objective to destroy compact cars in a specific time frame.
Rockstar also promises that the spectator lounge will bring players a life of luxury with drinks and the opportunity to control a weaponized drone.
GTA Online’s Arena War is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
