Latest Quarter Results From Take-Two Reveals “Several Groundbreaking Titles” Planned To Launch In 2025

Although some of its most popular games roll out in a slow burn process, parent company Take-Two Interactive is in a good spot in the industry when helming projects such as Grand Theft Auto. A big enough candidate to be considered for acquisition in recent months, one rumor said. In that, claims which have since been debunked said the firm could be up for purchase by PlayStation.

Regardless, the firm is in a good stance currently. And that is to continue as many fans await for more information on the next Grand Theft Auto. Previously, a slew of leaks from an early build of the supposed sequel did seep through the cracks in a major surprise. Additionally, Bloomberg Tech Jason Schreier told the game was expected to ship sometime in 2024 or 2025 later on.

From a new statement by Take-Two Interactive in its latest quarterly review, it reveals likely to be the latter. “Fiscal 2025 is a highly anticipated year for our Company. For the last several years, we have been preparing our business to release an incredibly robust pipeline of projects that we believe will take our company to even greater levels of success,” it reads.

“In Fiscal 2025, we expect to enter this new era by launching several groundbreaking titles that we believe will set new standards in our industry and enable us to achieve over $8 billion in Net Bookings and over $1 billion in Adjusted Unrestricted Operating Cash Flow. We expect to sustain this momentum by delivering additional growth in our operating results in Fiscal 2026 and beyond.”

One eye-opener from the comment is the use of plural for the “pipeline of projects” on the way. But what could it be? Well, dedicated studio Cloud Chamber is conjuring together a new installment for the Bioshock series. To add on to the conversation, Bioshock creator Ken Levne now leading Ghost Story Games is piecing together a successor which is aiming to ship in 2025 as well.

Not to Hanger 13 is reported to be working on a prequel to its Mafia trilogy, it is reported. After the impression Mafia: Definitive Edition made, fans are hungry to see what’s next. Rockstar Games is also collaborating with Remedy Entertainment on remakes for both Max Payne & Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. You can read the full report by heading here.
