While the notorious Persona 5 release for Nintendo Switch, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, arrived to owners in Japan alongside a PlayStation 4 version dating back to this February, fans in the western hemisphere are still anticipating a localized version to arrive in the coming future. But despite ambitions from its followers, little to no information surfaced on the game. Well, not officially that is.
In December prior to the game’s release in its native region, a trademark for Persona 5 Scramble titled ‘Persona 5 Strikers’ appeared for the western market. At the time of reporting, it was suspected that the game would release a short time after its debut to the market in Japan. Howbeit, we learned that is not the case for sure.
While all hope has been lost as time continued onward, publisher Koei Tecmo announced in a financial report back in July that Persona 5 Strikers is still officially set to release. But now in December this week, the official trailer for Persona 5 Strikers leaked. However, the video was swiftly taken down most likely due to being posted ahead of a scheduled showing.

Although the official trailer is nowhere to be seen, that does not mean we leave empty handed. In fact, fans now know that Persona 5 Strikers will be arriving on February 23 next year for both PlayStation4 and Nintendo Switch. But, there is another surprise revealed: a PC version. The trailer concludes unveiling the game will be debuting on PC via Steam as well. Former Game Informer Editor Imran Kahn on Twitter signaled the trailer was intended to be revealed the following week; most likely for The Game Awards.
For Sega, the firm has continued to campaign for more ports of Atlus titles to PC following the release of Persona 4 Golden earlier this summer. The game illustrated there is a market for the platform and more is projected to arrive then; Persona 5 Strikers being one of them. You can read the latest report on the matters by heading here.
