If you have already finished Breath of the Wild, or are looking for an excuse to dive back into the insanely gorgeous latest version of Hyrule, then the expansion pass is perfect. At only $19.99, it comes with two DLC packs that we have finally been able to see. The first is releasing this month on June 30th, called Master Trials and includes – Trial of the Sword, Master Mode, Hero’s Path, Travel Medallion, Korok Mask and eight new armors, one of which has Majora’s Mask and who doesn’t want to rock that?
The second will be The Champions’ Ballad and the only information Nintendo has provided so far is that it will be an original story and have a new dungeon. We will see this DLC later during the holiday season.
The trailer shows some new powers for Link, a lot of really cool masks and pieces of armor, and the Trial of the Sword. (Why is Link not wearing clothes during that trial? I have so many questions.) Pants or no pants, prepare to jump back into Breath of the Wild very soon!
